Government debt exceeds $12 billion in the first quarter of 2025

Cambodia's total public debt reached $12.18 billion at the end of Q1 2025, with 99% being public external debt and 1% being domestic debt. The debt stock comprises USD (48%), SDR (18%), JPY (11%), CNY (10%), EUR (8%), and local and other currencies (5%).
